Purchase - The Salon of 1874, painting by Camille-Léopold Cabaillot-Lassalle

This painting by Camille-Léopold Cabaillot-Lassalle (1839-1902), which entered the Musée d'Orsay collections in March 2023 thanks to a gift from Galerie Ary Jan and Galerie Marc Segoura Fine Arts, is presented for the first time since its acquisition in the exhibition "Paris 1874, inventing Impressionism". This work, singular in its design and execution by several artists, is perfectly suited to the exhibition's subject matter: The Salon of 1874.
