Artwork description
Origin

A mask of gentleness, a smile with eyes closed on a mystery, a dear absentee with smooth skin of metal or stone, you rise from the ground, you climb above the abyss. On the sides, when we see where you spring from, light, transparent, abstract, the shreds of your stretched flesh hurt. That's the effort of life, the work of existence: always rising from the ground, reaching for the heavens despite the body that holds you down, ties you up, stretches and tears. But when you yourself are already higher, lighter, more spiritual and graceful, you receive your soothing smile, which is an offering, a joy that rises up and gives itself.
